the $580 iphone requires you to adopt one of the newer simple choice plans. for people on older or prepaid plans, it's possible they'll either charge you the full $650 or not even sell you the phone at all.

I transferred over my ATT iPhones to t-mobile today, I get 3G mostly around downtown, Portland, OR.

I am happy with it :D praying t-mobile LTE comes before end of the year!
 
Is it worth getting? I currently have an iPhone 4 unlocked on T-Mobile. Should I just wait for the new iPhone to come out this Jutember?

Wait, it is another few months! unless you can trade in your iPhone for a good price which with iPhone 4 going to be tough.

if you don't mind a new iphone coming out in 5-6 months, i say go for it. the 5 is a huge improvement over the 4.
