Tomtom Bluetooth compatibility?

I've got one, haven't tried it yet though.
I'm guessing it's not gonna work. Seems like the iPhone is (stupidly) locked down to headsets only over BT.

It should work. I have handfree built into my car and it works with my iPhone. It is basically the same principle as the TomTom.
What did you compare it with? From using TomTom, iGuidance, and OnCourse I had the most problems with TomTom. Maps are very outdated.
I guess i was referring more to the data-based features such as weather, traffic, etc.

actually it works with alot of the factory handsfree systems that come with cars...so it might. you should try it out and let me know

TomTom huge in the States? I'm sorry people are buying bad maps.
Handsfree works fine with my TomTom GO 910, but data does not.
I think you'll find that's typical when using a TomTom with any phone that isn't made by Motorola, Sony-Ericsson, or Nokia.
