TomTom for iPhone app on sale

I just wanted to point out to those who have been wanting to purchase the app that it's currently $10 off for the US & US & Canada versions of the app. I'm not sure how long the special will last, but the App Store page says "summer sale."

Such a shame apps like these are available for use in Japan. Would love to be able to use it. Currently doing fine with Google Maps on my friend's iP4 and its turn by turn navigation though. Using a small smart phone display for navigation is the only down side.

So wait, there's no GPS apps you can buy for the iPhone in the Japan App Store? Not even Navigon or any others?

I looked at TomTom, but in the end I went with Navigon even though it is quite a bit more expensive. All the reviews I read about it were quite positive, so hopefully it lives up to all the hoopla.

Does anyone know if you can install TomTom on more than one iPhone? My g/f and I are on a family plan and it would be nice to be able to buy it once and install it on both as opposed to spending $80 for two copies of it. Not looking for any workarounds, I'm just wondering if it's 1) legit and 2) possible. Thanks!

My gf and I sync our phones in two separate computers. I logged into iTunes on her computer to authorize her computer. Since I had already purchased the app, iTunes recognizes that so it doesn't charge twice for it. That way she can have the app as well. Apple allows you to authorize up to 5 computers so this workaround works on siblings and parents computers as well.
