i just buy the new tomtom dock... very good... how do i know if its used the gsp enhanced or the iphone chip?

question 2?

will the dock support the new iphone?

1. You need to download the tomtom car kit app (free) in the app store, should tell you everything you need to know - which GPS running, signal etc

2. Don't know if it will - probably not that's why i'm holding off buying the mount :(

ive done that.. when the tomtom apps is running? how do i know which gps is using? the phone one or the dock one?

once the Mount has secured a GPS lock (takes a couple mins from a cold start) all apps using Location Services will use the mount ... i've tested by looking at the MotionX GPS app which gives an "accuracy" value ... the mount provides an incrementally better fix accuracy, and after a couple mins from cold start, the app jumps to that fix accuracy indicating that all apps, incl. TomTom, will use the improved fix. Hope that helps.
