My wife has a 16gb iPad that she's maxed the storage capability. It's too full to snyc or operate for that matter. It hangs out in the "gray circle of death" and does nothing. I've tried to fix it through iTunes, but wont even let me delete applications.

So I managed to find a program that works. I used iExplorer to gain access in between reboots and the gray circle of death. I managed to deleted some files in order to at least sync. Photos are backed up and now time to wipe it clean.
