too large desktop display

hi,

I just bought a new tv and connect it to my mac mini.
the problem is that the desktop is to large and i cannot see the top menu only if i get with the mouse up on the screen, then i see only part of the menu details.

i could not find how to fix

Did you try changing the screen resolution? I know my tv was 1080p on the box, but setting it to 720 might do the trick

AppleNewton is right. Your solution will probably be the underscan/overscan adjustment in the Display section of System Preferences.
