Too many Entourage addresses

I have about 2200 addresses on Entourage, and it seems to be very slow moving from the Inbox to the Addresses panel. Is there anything I can do?

1) Repair permissions.

2) Rebuild your database using Database Utility under Applications > Microsoft Office 2004 > Office > Database Utility

I have 1,500 entries in Entourage's address book and it runs fine on my G4 Powerbook.

You might also check for MS Office updates via the Help menu.

how should i do this on my work machine? I'm on an IMAP windows network.

do i need to do anything different?

Repair Permissions is under Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

What kind of computer do you have? Since it's a work computer, will tech support help you out? Do they have restrictions set on the computer?
