too many processes

i have noticed my powerbook is not as fast as it was new and checked my activity monitor, there are a bunch of things running but i don't know which i need and which i don't heres a list if you guys could help me

this is under the "all processes"

can i quit the hp ones and i know that usbwirelessutility, safari, and activity are the apps i am runnning right now so they are fine

You might want to check your Login Items as well.

The HP ones are the only other ones that you can kill.
