  • Negative Black Screen
  • Screen that completly pixalates randomly (see pic below)
  • Music stops playing while in Safari
  • Safari crashes every 30 minutes.
  • Safari will turn completely black for 30 secs at a time randomly.
  • Wallpaper does not work
  • Auto brightness does not work
  • And a few other minor things I can't think of.

These are all PROBLEMS not lack of features...

These problems are all present on my iPod. I will be returning my iPod this weekend and getting a refund. Might buy another in a month or two when things get sorted out.

This product was definitely rushed...

Oh my god, that is absolutely terrible. Looks like you got the worst one yet. Don't blame you for getting a refund, I'm now worried about getting mine next Friday.

Have you thought about just exchanging? My second unit's a peach except for a relatively minor negative black issue.

Add these two to the list:

Music skips despite the fact the iPod is resting on my desk.
Videos abruptly stop and the iPod resets.

...very annoying. I'm going to go for an exchange in hopes I get a better unit, if not, I'll just get a refund and wait a few months and see if Apple addresses these issues.

Meh. I would rather wait until the dust settles. I don't think I should have any problem with a restocking fee if I tell apple what I just told you..

If they try to charge me 10% I will throw a fit.

I have spent over 3K with Apple this year!

That is just a picture being displayed on his screen.

No it is not.

That is a scene from Talladega Nights (The part where Ricky Bobby's father makes a scene and gets kicked out of the steak house)

That is an actual glitch you are seeing. Note: that this does not happen all the time. But it has happened a few times. Usually after a restart it will go away. But still annoying!

Here is another photo with out the flash turned on.

refuse to believe that it is infact a video playing.

Want me to post a photoshopped picture of a movie playing on my iphone or touch or video ipod?

Well you are wrong.

Ask around there was another user saying he had the same problem.

Look at the screen it has smudges all over it. I am no where near that good at photoshop.

EDIT: Look I found the guy that has the same problem with the weird screen:

I know you're not good, it shows.

And here is the High Res Version so you can see all the detail.

This is NOT a PHOTOSHOP!

Hahahahah!

Got you guys good. Who in their right mind would think someone would photoshop something to complain about on a forum. lol:cool:

LOL! You are a tool!!!

Look at the EXIF data!

Dude. Why are you even responding to him? You don't need to prove anything. If you're not happy with the product, take it back. It's not unheard of for a new product to have glitches and defects (a lot of people actually anticipate it and wait for rev b or whatever). Who cares if somenoe doesn't believe you.

Ya your right.

What reason would I have to make this up?

I also love how everyone is a "PS Expert" when this is a legit image. Shows how much credibility everyone here really has.

They're all complete morons. Firstly, to do a photoshop that realistically you'd need to have years of experience in the game. Even then it wouldn't come out that realistically.

Secondly, are you all screwed in the head? It could just be a photo that the OP is displaying on their iPod. Why would it need to be photoshopped? A simple photo could achieve this effect without any need for the magic of Adobe.

Thirdly, I'm not saying the OP is even faking it. Because what the heck is the point? Too many haters on these forums.

Thanks Matt.

Ya it would make so much more sense to just put that pic on there instead of spending hours photoshopping which I don't even know how to do.

But what is my motivation for faking? I really had this happen to me a few times.

It is not that big of a deal since it goes away after restart... But I still don't like it.
