I left my MacBook Pro in my bag last night and when I took it out this morning the temp reader said it was nearly 48 Cel....which isn't bad on its own but still shocking 😱😱😱

I am running macOS Sierra Beta 1

Your running a bleeding edge Beta OS, so why are you surprised there is some issue. If you want stability revert to one of the previous publicly released version of OS X.
