Which screws? A #00 philips should be fine, and you need that one to get the bottom cover off as well...

The mounting screws on the hard drive are usually a T6 (sometimes a T8, but I think that's only the older models). If you have good electronics store nearby (not a Best Buy or something that like, but a Fry's or a real electronics store), they'll probably have one, or you can order it online.

Here's one on Amazon for reference: http://www.amazon.com/Cellet-Torx-T...M76G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1322519362&sr=8-3

Ah, somehow I completely forgot the HDD mounts with Torx screws. Home Depot sells a Husky tool with several different torx tips in it, it's actually pretty high-quality and it's only $6. I have this, and it works very well.

ah well. tonite i was going to get everything together, but the toolkit amazon sold me does not have a torx screwdriver small enough for the HD screws.

will try radio shack or best buy tomorrow.
one more day's ok: the mac arrived TWO DAYS before scheduled!

I didn't have a torx driver so i just used pliers. Worked fine.
