Hi, i downloaded "photoshop cs4 ME" for mac and was trying to register it with the instructions, but my proxy app stopped working, i have to give manual "127.0.0.1:8080" proxy to my browser (i use firefox) and use toonel, but after i did the instructions it says proxy server refused connection, it's the same message it would give me whenever i would forget to open the toonel app before start surfing the web with the entered proxy, the instructions was this :
Terminal

Launch a new terminal window and copy and paste:

sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts


Hit return and type your admin password.

A file should automatically open using TextEdit.


TextEdit

Hit return (in the opened file) and copy and paste:

127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com

127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com


Save the the file, DO NOT Save As….


Finalize (Mac OS X Leopard)

Launch a new terminal window and copy and paste:

sudo dscacheutil -flushcache


i dont know about commanding and stuff but i thought it might be because of the sudo dscacheutil -flushcache part, so what should i do now? :( :confused:
