Re: Top 10 things to do once Jailbroken?

PdaNET to avoid paying AT&T extra $30 a month for tethering
iSteamy because I have pron needs when there's no Internet.
Flashlight because it overrides the phones brightness setting
AppSync so I can backup my legally purchased apps and enable the refund policy for crappy apps

30 replies to this and I can't find a single reason that would apply to me. I jailbroke my 3G and mostly used it for Winterboard and NES (punchout on my phone was an eye grabber) Both killed the battery.

MyWi seems like a good thing, but anytime I need Wifi, I have it

Looks like my i4 will stay stock like my 3GS did.

LOL, the biggest reason can't be discussed

I JB my 3G and hated it. I know there are people who think customizing the phone to look like APC got a hold of it for a Fast and Furious movie was the *****. But it was so stupid. All I cared for was wallpaper.

But the 3G was so slow with all the JB stuff. I remember the macbook keyboard overlay that always froze up when I was typing and the random requests to re-sync with iTunes in the middle of the day!!! WTF!?! I can't run home to sync my phone so I can function, that's BS. So I went stock and everything ran great from then on. This is the reason I believe Apple knows a little more about what they're doing than these JB app makers. I don't see the polish.

However, the bugs from the 3G days could be gone now and I just don't know it. Having over twice the ram and processing power in the i4 could make JBing a better experience this time around.

I do want the MyFi or PDAnet app and SMS quick reply (can't believe that isn't already in there).

Then dont JB then.
Very simple solution:D

Having over twice the ram and processing power in the i4 could make JBing a better experience this time around.

Actually 4 times the amount of ram than the iphone 3G and 2G models.
2G/3G 128
3GS 256
iPhone 4 512
Now you know why older models drag with 4.0 and with JB compared to the 3GS and soon JB i4.

The things I'm most looking forward to being able to do again are having a 5-icon dock, SBSettings, Winterboard so I can get my Glass Orb Color theme back (or at least the icons, including dozens I custom modded for my 3GS), BossPaper, and I'd like to have a go at MyWi. I'll probably also try 3G Unrestrictor again; I bought it and never did get it to work on my 3GS--it crashed every app I tried to associate with it and eventually the frustration got to be too much and I gave up.
