I will open this up to the 12.9 and 9.7 models both for all owners. What are your Top 2 yes only 2 be selective must have exclusive to the Pro line only features or updates you must have.

Remember theses are iPad Pro only level they will not be available on iPad Air 2 or older models.

#1. USB Drive support. Professionals likely have alot of data to carry around.
#2. Bluetooth Mouse support. It would help me in Microsoft Office and many other apps maybe even games too. We already have Bluetooth keyboard support. The iPad Pro would be great to play some RTS games.

1) Actually owning one
2) Not posting nonsense about it

What do you love about your new device, what does it replace?

I don't understand the point of this thread. You want us to name top 2 features that the iPads don't have that we want? But then why limit it to iPad Pro only? The two features you name would be useful for any size iPad, if you are into that kind of thing.

1) trackpad support
2) 2 ways full usb-drive support. Right now we have a limited implementation that only works from the drive to the iPad, and only for pictures and (some) videos.

1) mouse support
2) mouse support

actually, the more i think of it these days my Pencil does all i think i'd ever want my mouse to do. smaller, more convenient, super accurate etc etc. i can imagine a mouse being quite cumbersome. cant actually think where a mouse would be better than a pencil really, even with buttons.

so.......

1) desk top software support
2) havent decided yet

The iPad will become a laptop replacement when it is a laptop in a couple of years. It is already happening.

Keyboard, trackpad for mouse support on keyboard, later on a bluetooth mouse. 8GB RAM. 128GB/256/512GB storage. Better multitasking, faster CPU/GPU. Then they will dump the mac lines and we are left with a closed garden of suckyness as a laptop that equal something from 2010 in 2020.

Well...pencil works great with the tablet horizontal, but when it's in a vertical position I would prefer a trackpad =)

1) dual window mode within one app (open two websites or two EXCEL sheets or two emails, you get it) at the same time in split view); technically could be defined as second screen. I believe the infrastructure is there and require only minor changes in apps.

2) not specific to the Pros: but I want on-device development. Mobile Xcode

Ad 1) yes, I could install a second browser but I don't count that as solution

It's nice enough for the things it's good at. But it's so far from being able to handle the flexibility of a desktop/laptop I don't even know if I'd bother trying to force that kind of experience from it.
