I echo the previous comments. In the words of Mr. Spock: “Fascinating”.
I don't have enough data to extrapolate you yet. I only started collecting your counts in late Jan, so all I have is weekly data.I notice I haven’t been extrapolated yet.
Do you take luncheon vouchers?I don't have enough data to extrapolate you yet. I only started collecting your counts in late Jan, so all I have is weekly data.
Here's a couple graphs of your weekly counts. I plotted them relative to mine over the same period, forScienceComedy. Use the vertical scale on the left to get a sense of how it compares to the more prolific posters.

I've PM'ed you the invoice for this special graphing procedure.
No, but I do take Pez dispensers.Do you take luncheon vouchers?
No, but I do take Pez dispensers.
Is there a particular table or graph you're interested in, because you're already in Top 50, Prolific Posters, etc. If there's something else, you can ask and I'll see if I can do it with the data I have.
At my current post rate when will I pass Mad Jew? I recall you (or was it Doctor Q) used to run a list along those lines. No, but I do take Pez dispensers.

I post that list at the semi-annuals, but I didn't post it in this mid-point update because I think I have a bug in it. It gives sensible output when the dates are the usual 6-month interval, but it looks off for a 3-month interval. I haven't gotten around to tracking it down and fixing it.At my current post rate when will I pass Mad Jew? I recall you (or was it Doctor Q) used to run a list along those lines.
Don’t you just hate it when you data gets screwed? One of my colleagues was presenting a spreadsheet to the board when the co owner noticed the numbers didn’t add up! Needless to say it went down well!I post that list at the semi-annuals, but I didn't post it in this mid-point update because I think I have a bug in it. I'll still include it at the next semi-annual Statistics Day in July, assuming I haven't broken it any worse by then.

I hope it helps at your nextWow! Thanks so much. “It’s this kind of spontaneous publicity, your name in print, that makes people!”
I’m printing these graphs and posting them outward on my glass office wall (between the iron bars for maximum visibility).
I would be interested to see if someone who only posted in this thread, and quite regularly too, would make it onto the list.
Someone volunteer to do that please
The full list of users whose counts I have is available as an attached zip file in post #16 of this thread:I would be interested to see if someone who only posted in this thread, and quite regularly too, would make it onto the list.

I didn't add any users for the mid-point update. If the user you're interested in isn't in any of those tables, then I have no data for them.
Table 1 in the zip file contains the most detailed data for users, including their rank by post count, their post rate, etc.
Do you want it with or without a glove?I notice I haven’t been extrapolated yet.
Well, whaddya know, the code for making that projection does work.At my current post rate when will I pass Mad Jew? I recall you (or was it Doctor Q) used to run a list along those lines.

Well I did have my first holiday in years so that might explain it!Well, whaddya know, the code for making that projection does work.
Projection made with 2019-04-03 data:
Code:2019-Sep-17 for Apple fanboy 2019-Dec-20 for Relentless Power 2021-Jun-26 for Weaselboy 2021-Jun-28 for I7guy 2022-Dec-04 for The Game 161 2024-Jun-23 for Newtons Apple
Prior projection made with 2019-01-03 data:
Code:2019-Aug-29 for Apple fanboy 2019-Sep-29 for Relentless Power 2020-Nov-10 for Newtons Apple 2021-Apr-06 for Weaselboy 2022-Oct-31 for I7guy 2023-Nov-19 for The Game 161
Your new "intercept date" is slightly later in the new projection, because your post rate is slightly lower for the 3-month period. The projection is a simple 2-point linear extrapolation, which only uses 2 dates. You can look at Table 1 in the April post and see the slight post-rate decline (Delta Rate column).
You can also see a larger decline in @Relentless Power's post rate, which has the effect of moving his "intercept date" even farther out, from Sep-29 to Dec-20. @Newtons Apple had a much larger decline in rate, so got pushed out by a few years.
Well I did have my first holiday in years so that might explain it!
Thanks for the update.
I’m not going to sweat it. I’ll get there when I do. I recall my surprise at ever appearing in any of these tables. You may yet hit that mark, or reach that target, even earlier than anticipated, which is what happened with me.

I certainly never anticipated that when I first joined!
This echos my sentiment. The way I found out about these tallies is that I was "mentioned" in one of the previous posts.Likewise.
I remember reading these tables and wondering - agog - who these people with those fantastic post counts were, and being stunned when I finally began to appear in the respective tables.
Needless to say, I certainly never anticipated - ever - finding myself among the ranks of such individuals, and, in common with yourself, I doubt very much that this would - or could - have come about if compelling domestic circumstances had been different.
