I disassembled my MacBook to replace the inverter cable, and after putting it back together, it wouldn't turn on. I took out the top case again and was able to turn it on through the logic board, so i know the problem lies with the top case.

Would anyone happen to know what I might have done wrong with the top case? I didn't tear the ribbon when removing it, everything is still intact.

I know I'm probably gonna have to just get a new top case, but I want to see if there's any alternative solutions, or if anyone could help identify what went wrong so it doesn't happen again lol
