Hello. I just noticed that the top hinge of my white MacBook is misaligned about 1 milimiter.

I don't think it was like it before. It also makes a Cracking noise when I open it. Can I get it fixed or exchanged?

I know, but the point is quality control on the MacBooks is not perfect. And you will probably have a difficult time having it replaced.

    But I wish you luck!

Did you do anything to cause this (like bump or drop your MacBook)?

Either way, your best bet is to visit your local Genius Bar to see if they'll help.

I think my cat dropped it, because I left it on my bed, and when I was back, it was on the floor o_o

    Can I repair it myself?

Or can I pay to get it repaired?
