I like Tim Cook and think he's doing an excellent job of running Apple. But he also strikes me as overly performative emotionally. I'm sorry, but someone brining an old Mac SE to an Apple Store opening isn't THAT exciting. I find it hard to watch his keynotes because he seems so artificial.
Some (many) people believe it's totally OK to express a little bit of joy when surprised.
It was a sweet moment - a customer bringing his 30+ year old Mac (which no doubt is very meaningful to him) to the opening of India's first Apple Store. For both the customer and for Cook. Nice to see that some people aren't so wound up and are able to express some happiness.
