I imagine this isn't a popular stance, but I care little about all the energy sucking health aspects of the Apple Watch. I just want way, way more battery life for the basic clock functionality (although still with an always on display because the raise to view feature on my Series 4 isn't very reliable)...

Pretty sure you can turn the fitness items off today.

Interestingly, the best way to extend battery life on the latest model watches is to turn on battery saver mode which brings back the raise to view feature.

Kudos to you for sticking with older tech and making it last as long as possible. Our planet needs more legends like yourself.
