I have a 12 Pro with one year left on Verizon. Happy with it. Was going stick with it. But I upgraded to a 13 Pro, same specs. But with a 30-month program that Verizon now offers my payment would actually go DOWN. I’ve never gotten a new phone the first day before now. No brainer.

I also got my wife, a die hard Android user, to switch to Verizon and got her a 13 Pro Max. Her kids and all my relatives have iPhones. She was the final hold out. Hope she likes the iPhone (she will) in short order. We are taking her daughter off our plan (she’s old enough) so wife coming on is basically a wash. She’s coming from a Stylo 4, so this will be a big change for her.

Finally, we got her an iPad Pro (she’s starting up a business) with cellular. So that will be a boost to the phone bill, but only for a year. Since we will have three lines, we get a break on the bill.

We preordered the phones and the iPad should be there by Friday. Friday will be a big day for us. I’m excited, while wife is a little nervous about switching. This will be the slowest week in history.

Well, a step forward to full wear down the iPhone current design, is a step forward to the year when Apple will irremediably release it’s first foldable/flip iPhone. So, great news!

The rumour about the iWatch having a blood sugar monitor would have actually forced me to buy it. I genuinely hate wearing watches, but health should come first.

I am still amazed that Apple offers the pathetically low hard drive capacity for the iPhone, but great that you can now upgrade to 1tb. I know there are some who don't care, but it really is a pain when whatever device you have starts to tell you that your free disk space is low.

If someone were to give me a phone with 128 gb capacity I would just sell it. For my use it would be useless, other than a backup. But then fortunately we are all different.

I would like to see Apple introduce the rumoured blood sugar monitor on its next iWatch iteration :)
