One Line - Macrumormonger, please explain more. I'm thinking jokes.
Fibonacci was a mathematician who lived around 1200. He observed and recorded a complex numbering system that exists in nature. For short, Fibonacci Numbers are the number system of nature. Petals on a flower, curves in a shell and such. Google at your own risk. Your head may explode. No joke...

I'll do it for him: leading lines in photography are any lines or series of shapes in a photo that lead the eye's movement within the frame, typically bringing it deep into the background or across to a subject, or both. Think roads, paths, architectural elements, human gestures, light trails, footprints, fences, rock formations, etc. The possibilities are endless, really.
I second Leading Lines. 🙂
^^ The rule of thirds only becomes a fibonacci number if you frame something in the quadrants of the viewfinder as you did with your flower pic. The frame becomes a fibonacci spiral. A portrait with the eyes framed on the upper line of the rule of thirds is not very fibonacci-ish to me. Prove me wrong. I know you can...🙂Maxx: The rule of thirds is a lazy man's fibonacci--something else to think about when considering this topic.
Maxx and Phrasikleia, thanks for your input.
In my calculations I don't allow anyone to second their own topic idea. Support has to come from someone else. I reserve the tiebreaker or defer to John if one of the final topics is my own suggestion. Just trying to be diplomatic on the world stage..😎
We have a tie between Toys and Leading Lines with two voting days open excluding today (July 8). Please vote for your fav.
