So I have an S4 Gold Alu and at the time I like it's jarring brilliance but after 2 years, I was set on going basic black with the Space Grey Alu. But after seeing the Blue Alu I'm torn. Do I go for the new blue hue, or do I go basic black?

I’m going space gray because I change bands all the time. I also use a case and I want a black Digital Crown.

The blue looks amazing. Agree that matching bands will be a bit trickier but still worth it IMO.

The blue looks fantastic... with blue or black bands. It just seems so limiting in what you can pair with it and the color itself to me seems out of place in a professional or dress setting, but that depends on your own life and aesthetic. If I had a few watches it would be fun to have the blue or red one... but having one I need to pick something I can make work for me in whatever the situation.

Nice pic. I went with the Blue w/ Navy Sport Band.

My plan is:
Work: Blue Leather Loop
Sports/All-Purpose: Navy Sport Band
Casual: Light Blue Sport Band or maybe I'll pick up a sport loop or the woven one (or a replica.. its exp.)

There are also a lot of nice contrasting color combos like cream, but I'll need to go to the Apple store to experiment with those - likely more for the casual settings.

Same! The blue is pretty, but I like matching my watch to my outfits. Blue/red are going to clash with the majority of my clothes and bands.

Space grey. It’ll go with more bands and suit every item of clothing whereas the blue may clash. I prefer a neutral casing and add the colour via the bands personally.

My gf was having the same issue, I put my finger on the scale talking up the blue and she went with it, it is friggin gorgeous. Besides she has an S5 SG Al if she wants to match with a band that doesn’t go well with Blue.
