Torrent Downloads

Hi all, new to the forum but have been using Macs for years. Just lately, no matter what torrent client I use (Transmission, Folx, uTorrent etc), when I click to download a torrent it'll initially start downloading and will be blazing fast but then just gradually slows to nothing and, on Folx for example, the torrent just says 'active' but there's absolutely no activity.

I'm not sure if it coincided with Sonoma or whether that's just timing but cannot seem to get things to download at all, I've gone into router settings to open ports etc and just wondered if anyone else had experienced similar and has a fix as it's driving me round the bend!

tried by connecting to my phone as hotspot as well and exactly the same outcome.. it's just a very recent development so I'm totally baffled

I got this issue quite often. Sometimes the torrent completed downloading after a month or so, sometimes it never completed.
