For those that have used the Torras screen protectors before. Are they really the easiest to apply and definitely eliminate all the dust and bubbles? No one else seems to make this claim.

I bought Torras screen protectors for my 13PM a couple of years ago because they were the only reasonable priced ones I could find that covered the notch, didn’t have black borders and were big enough (some are so precise that, if placed a millimetre to the side, can cause funny distortion and look terrible)..
They came with the standard wet dry wipes which were sufficient getting rid of any dust. Of course clean environment and good lighting also helps. I don’t recall them coming with the installation guard at the time but it was an easy install because you align to speaker and the bottom corners. So it stuck on top to bottom and I had zero bubbles. Not even the tiny ones that you can push out after the fact.
I’ve used the same protector for two years! You can see very few micro scratches in direct sunlight after so long so they seem durable too.
I’ve now got Torras screen protectors waiting for my 15 to arrive and I hope the quality of the product hasn’t changed. Strongly recommend.

I was a Zagg customer for years…personally and professionally. Purchased well over 100 Zagg screen protectors for everything from phones to tablets to laptops.
Fast forward…been using Torras exclusively for the past 4 years…I will never use Zagg again.
Torras is a phenomenal product and amazing customer service.

Do the Torras for the 15’s still not have black borders? Been searching for one that doesn’t

You’ll want to try the iCarez brand as they have some without the border.

As far as Torras their 15 Pro series protectors still have the border and in my opinion their new application system seems superior but will confirm later today after my phone arrives.

I ordered the Torras, but getting second thoughts because it has black borders. I never had a screen protector with black borders. Is that a deal breaker? Do you notice the black borders when the screen protector is applied?

Additionally, the Torras is full screen, although it may not be an issue with the Pitaka MagEZ 4 case.

I prefer the black borders because it helps with light leaks from the screen, especially when viewing at night.

Do the black borders on the torras extend beyond the bezel of the phone and block part of the screen?

I installed mine today with the new applicator and they are awesome. I peeled off the sticker and put it right on, no bubbles and no dust. It feels great and looks clear and goes all the way to the edge, I almost couldn’t tell that it was on properly. I peeled off the top sticker and thought for a second I was pulling off the screen protector with it. I definitely recommend them, they are worth the $25 for two.

installed today, perfect alignment and the borders are not visible nor do they cover any part of the screen as far as i can tell. Much more coverage than the ESR protector that i compared it to.

The only thing i noticed was that the top of the screen is a bit sharp as compared to the bottom lip which is smooth. This shouldn't be an issue if you use a case.

Looks identical to my install, practically invisible!

I feel the bottom edge of the Torras when swiping up. It feels slightly sharp. That was not the case with other screen protectors I’ve used. 🤔

Left is 14pro max with esr armorite that’s been on 6/7 months. Right is 15pro max with newly installed Torras with fancy installer. Highly recommended.
Tough to tell from the picture. You prefer the Torras over the armorite?

I don’t know about the 15 pro max armorite but I’ve read that it’s very tight on the measurements so is tricky to install. They both seem good quality. I just prefer the installer for the Torras.

I have always gone with esr the last several years but decided to try Torras for my 15pro after reading about it on MR. The biggest difference I can see is the torras has much better oleophobic coating. I put an esr (non Amorite) on my wife’s 15 and it was covered in finger prints before setup was done. Also the torras was easier to install.

Maybe cos the Torras has high hardness. I bought it for its high security. It can seamlessly protect my phone. Haha, I use a phone case, so the edge feeling is not very strong.

But high hardness is important for preventing scratches. Here is a video testing two different hardness screen protectors:
It’s not the hardness. Some of them like the armorite have a curved edge. The torras is straight with a sharp edge

I am running the Pitaka MagEZ case which has an open bottom. The edge feeling is not a deal breaker, just slightly noticeable.

Gotcha.
