That's a one heck of a battery! Well I guess it beats sitting in the bathroom on the plane for 3 hours to charge your iPod using the 'shaver' socket! ;) I just wish they had sockets in the arm rest for laptops and the like. Then I could bring a dvd and skip some of the god awful movies they show on the flight... (i.e. Britney Spears in the movie Crossroads... yuck :( )

Actually, some of the newer non-ipod systems are claiming upto 18 hours battery. Whether it is true remains to be seen, but the drop in battery life from the first generation to latest ipods was not a good move on Apples part. The iPod was small enough anyway, I dont need a smaller one, I need longer battery life.
