Just got shafted too!

Like the others in this post I too had to pay over 20% tax in California - haven't figured the exact amount since I purchased other items but I got the 16gb iPhone and when I called Apple on it the "genius" on customer support couldn't explain it to me.

Whoa, I thought Kentucky sales tax was annoying. I paid $317 after tax for my iPhone.
