TWO WEEKS!

Only "The Thomas Crown Affair" and "Sphere" were any good, though not great by any means. This sounds like it will be a horrible remake.

Sphere was worth it if only for the scene with Samuel L Jackson saying "follow the yellow brick road" with helium in his lungs.

The worst thing about drop dead fred is that the original was like an extension of the whole "Young Ones", "Filthy Rich & Catflap" and "Bottom" series with Rik Mayall. He was basically playing the same type of character in all 4 of them, that's what made it funny.

I like Russell Brand's stand-up, I mean he's no Bill Hicks or anything but I just don't think this could be remade without Rik Mayall who could easily still be in a second film.

If Michael Bay did it, it would also be a 3 hour movie. I do like the Bad Boys movies, but I agree, he does add too many explosions.
