But, which actually is better? Total Video Converter or iVl? 😕

For conversion, MPEGStreamclip is probably better than Handbrake.

I second handbrake, there is really nothing better out there. And on top of that it is free 🙂
(and no MPEGStreamclip isn't better either - it is based on Quicktime which is slower).
