So I normally get their "jet black case" - but this year they don't have that color but they do have frosted black. Any idea if that's the same color just renamed?

Definitely not the same. It looks exactly what it says on the same - black color but frosted. I think their pictures show it clearly.

I have too many cases, but feel like Totallee makes the best thin cases. I have the Totallee Frosted Black, Jet Black, and Frosted Clear for my Space Gray XS Max. I never use the clear, used jet black a few times, but frosted black is hands down my favorite. It's not as slippery as jet black (which also tends to get fingerprints and scratches) and I do like seeing the subtle Apple logo through it ;).

I had also purchased the transparent crystal clear TPU and while it's on the thinner side of similar cases, I found it to be too thick and squishy (especially when you're used to the cases above.) Wish they made an unfrosted clear.

Tozo on Amazon...

I completely agree that it’s ABSURB to spend $20+ on a phone case that is .35mm thick plastic. But I’ve tried a couple Tozo cases, and both times I’ve found they end up fraying/warping around the camera cutout. This never happened with my Caudabe Veil XT.

Also very similar to the Spigen Air Skin, except the Spigen case is about half the price and imo much tougher and gets less scratched than the Totallee cases over time.

I'm getting the midnight green and was wondering the frosted clear - in your opinion, do you think that the color will shows through enough? I'm also trying to decide between the frosted clear vs the transparent but I really want the thinner case as I almost never drop my phone so I'm not looking for drop protection - just something with a grip.

In my opinion, the Frosted Clear looks kinda like a plastic cover on a couch. No matter how good the couch looks, your eyes are still drawn to the plastic cover. The Frosted Clear is distracting because you see it when looking at your iPhone display because of the way it borders the screen. The transparent clear feels bulky and gets way too many fingerprints. I'm getting Midnight Green and ordered a Frosted Black case because it provides grip and doesn't look or feel like you have a case on your iPhone.

Totallee, a company that charges 10x more than aliexpress for the same product. It's called "pp cases" and they are cheap as hell.
That’s Peel. There’s articles that investigated this claim. Peel cases are from AliExpress.
Tozo on Amazon...
No, Tozo is not the same as Totallee

That said, yes Totallee is very overpriced and they are not that special.
