I love Totallee's thin cases and have been using them for years. I ordered two cases for my soon-to-be iPhone 12 Pro Max and wondered if there's be any noticeable difference in the extra screen real estate. There's not much difference, except for it being slightly taller and a little wider. The flat sides feel more comfortable in the hand compared to the rounded sides of the 11 Pro Max case.

I am disappointed in my new Totallee clear case for iPhone 12 Pro Max. The case itself is fine but the button covers make the buttons very hard to press and use. When I want to turn the volume up or down, I want to do it quickly and swiftly. I can't with this case. Nor can I turn off the screen swiftly. Maybe they will soften up in time, but I doubt it. Disappointed and this was no cheap case!

I have the Totallee soft clear case for my new Max, too, and I really like it. I find the button covers a little stiff as well, but I’m hoping they will soften over time. I love the way it doesn’t add a lot of extra bulk. My biggest hope is that it lives up to one of it’s major selling points for me: non-yellowing, at least for a year. This is my first Totallee case. I usually go for Velvet Caviar. Id like to get one of the more blingy clear cases from Amazon, but many of those turn yellow right away, and I just want my silver to show through with no dingy yellow undertones. 🤨

I’ve been using Totallee cases for few years now and they’re pretty awesome. But when it comes to clear cases, I’m pretty sure they’re all bound to change color with time. It’s just science and there’s nothing we can do to avoid that. My Totallee case didn’t necessarily turn yellow but it developed a light gray/brown tint.

But from personal experience I can say that Totallee will send you a new case for free if yours changes color within the first year. They just charged me $5 for the shipping, which I thought was pretty fair.

Same for me!

Yes. My iPhone 11 pro max cover did the same thing. But I never notified them. Ugh

I haven’t received mine yet (currently using the Apple leather case) so I’m a little bummed to hear this is an issue because their cases have been excellent in the past.

As far as not being cheap... yeah, they seem to be following Apple’s suit, unfortunately. 😬

At least now you know. If it develops a tint, take a picture of it and send it to them. Their customer service is pretty good.
Really suck on the 12 Pro Max! Terrible. I emailed them today to ask for replacement. I won't use the case with buttons that are terrible to press.

If you pre-ordered the clear soft case for your 12 Pro Max, then this buttons issue could be related to an early/first batch.

I found a similar problem with the 12 Pro case which i pre-ordered, it’s volume up and down buttons were quite hard to press. In such situation you can always contact support and request replacement, which I’m sure they would be happy to give. I always found their customer service very good.

Do not buy the hard clear case, I bought it last year and it looked so bad on my Midnight Green 11 Pro Max because you see the white frost when looking at your screen (sides, top, and bottom). It makes it look very cheap looking.

I love my Totallee thin clear case on my Pro Max; I think it’s perfect for my needs. The screen protector, however was a different story. For me, it was a total fingerprint and dust magnet. Had it replaced with the Bodyguardz protector today when I did my trade in at AT&T. What a difference! Totally edge to edge, no notch cutout and great at repelling fingerprints and dust. Of course, I had to give them a kidney and promise them my first-born child, but it’s done. I’ve used Bodyguardz on the last 4 or so phones that I’ve had, and I think they’re great. I can’t even tell I have a screen protector on. The only negative is the price.

Well I sent an email asking about the difficulty in pushing on the covered side buttons since I have been using my new iPhone 12 pro max for several days now and it's become a real issue for me. Especially when having to click on the side button twice to initiate Apple Pay. I emailed them 3 days ago and have not received a reply. I know that they received my email because I received a zen desk auto reply immediately after I sent it saying they would respond within 1-2 days. I just sent another email. It was my understanding that they had good customer service. Now I am getting REALLY disappointed in both their clear case AND their customer service. We shall see.

Button problem for me too. I sent them an email from within their website. They responded and sent me a new one the same day. Should get it soon.

I also emailed them regarding some issues last week, and their response was quick, and their customer service was excellent in solving my problem.

I heard back from them finally after 3 days apologizing for the delayed response. All they said was they wanted my order number, so I sent it. I sent it Thursday, today is Sunday. I don't know why others are getting such quick responses and I am not. I'll give it a few more days and report back but at this point I'm thinking the buttons that are hard to push is just a design flaw. Thinking of sending it back if I don't hear from them.

Did you ever receive the replacement case? If so, how is it? They finally responded to me and they are sending me a new one soon. Sure hope it’s better because I really like the case, just not the buttons.

I can tell you from my personal experience that the replacement case (clear soft) I received is working great. The button's click is now smooth and functioning as they are supposed to.

The replacement case arrived in 3-4 days after the support confirmed via email that they sent the replacement case.

Yes. Got it last week. Buttons are perfect. Not hard to press at all. I'm satisfied
