I was just sitting here tonight and thought to myself, "It would be kinda nice if the Touch utilized Bluetooth to interact with my Macbook..."

Sometimes I don't have the connection cable handy, and thought Bluetooth would be an awesome alternative to wirelessly sync and transfer files.

Am I alone in this train of thought?

No, you're not alone. Although with wifi the interaction/syncing would be faster. Bluetooth has far more potential though.

- Wireless keyboard potential (already on my iMac)
- Wireless headphones.
- the new Touch with speaker and mic (via headset) could pair with a bluetooth cell phone. My Samsung P2 and T10s can do this.
- potential gameplay between players via bluetooth. Also something my Samsungs can do.

Do a search and and you'll find more than a couple bluetooth threads here if you're interested.

I have a Sony bluetooth adapter for iPod ($75 best buy) and a pair of insignia Bluetooth headphones ($50) which I use for wireless headphones and double as a headset for my cell. I haven't attempted much else you guys mentioned, but there is SOME Bluetooth potential here.
