I've been looking for a way to sync notes made on my computer in Mail to my ipod touch and vice versa and it appears that you cannot. I know there are some alternative ways, but I'm not interested in that. I am wondering if you guys think Apple will, in the near future, release an update that will make this possible? I really hope so, its absolutely insane that they didn't do this to begin with.

It seems like a nobrainer to include the same note app written in mail to be sync'ed with the notes app on the touch. This is really a sad thing. As well as the todo list in mail.

Now I kinda use my ipod as a PDA and pretend the mail list isn't there, and it works okay. The question is, why did they have it on the old ipods (the notes section) and then just decide to not let you sync text files on this one?
