I just got my 2017 MacBook back from the keyboard replacement program. When I got home realize the Touch Bar doesn't work. It display everything but nit responsive to touch at all. Anyway ideas on how to get this to work. I really cant go another 5 days without a laptop. Any suggestions?

yeah...im just kinda upset I took it for a repair to have it replace only to get it back with something else not working

If reboot does not help, take it back to Apple. That is the only thing you can do. It is upsetting that technician failed to test it after the repair, but letting them fix it is the only recourse you have.

I'm not sure about your local apple store, but the apple store on 5th Avenue in Manhattan was able to do the repair in store when the replacement keyboard in the macbook pro was also faulty. I held onto the laptop until the part came then they just did the repair in store which took most of the day. That keyboard lasted about 3 months until failing again and they had to ship it out and they didnt give me the in store repair option. So maybe they only do that if the repair is defective right out of the shop? I would ask.

But if you sent it in for repair, this obviously wont help you lol

So that's what the high quality service we paying premium price for looks like...
