Title pretty much says it all. The auto-play function of videos on Facebook seems to "mess" with the "Now playing" button. Anyone experiencing the same? The scrubbing doesn't work for the videos when they auto-play either so in regards to Facebook videos, it seems pretty useless.

Same here. Stupid facebook must have some hidden player somewhere which tricks safari into thinking that it needs to show a scrub bar.

Yep it's intensely annoying especially when you're trying to use the media controls for iTunes. Typical Facebook abusing audio again. I just had to turn off all sound and auto-play on Facebook settings as a temporary fix.

It's not Facebook - this happens to me with Hangouts as well. Whenever an audio notification is played, the playback button will remain even after the sound has been played. Looks like a bug with Safari and Touch Bar (I suspect the audio file is being cached and Safari believes it's ready for playback).
