    finally got to play with a Touch today at a local Apple store...
    pretty cool -

    surfed to a couple of our websites,
    and discovered that the embedded YouTube HTML code can't be handled by the Safari browser.... it must be able to understand "<objects>"
    So - I guess I'll have to modify our pages with a simple image & hotlink.
    Does it handle Flash ok ?

    here's our traditional coding from YouTube -

    <object width="320" height="262">
    <param name="movie" value="">
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent">
    <embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="320" height="262">

    Like the iPhone there's no Flash in the browser, so no embedded YouTube or other Flash video.

    you can only embed mp4 files directly. Safari on the touch doesn't support flash (and probably never will)
