ok so last night i was experiencing problems with safari, it kept quitting.

I decide to restore and re-sync.

I try to restore this morning and it tells me an unknown error occured.

its still at 300mb

i try re-sync, same deal, unknown error and then "not enough space"

safari keeps quitting still

I now have an oversized 300mb flash drive.

what the hell is going on?

continue with hacking or:
press the sleep-wake button AND the home button, hold it down! release the sleep-wake button and hold down the home button when the ipod goes off (do not release the homebutton1!!!). hold down the home button for more 30 seconds and start your iPod. its now in emergency restore mode. restore it in itunes.

Search this forum, this happened to someone else and they fixed it. I think there's some kind of uber-restore mode?
