I recently installed iOS 8.2. Touch ID isn't working anymore. Anything I can do? Completely broken. Can't even add a new finger print.

Can you delete existing ones? Perhaps disable/enable it?

Back up your phone, then restore as a new device. Try out Touch ID again.

If it's STILL broken, your phone hardware is hosed. Take it to the Apple Store for service. I hope you're under warranty. :)

I'm having the same problem here.

After upgrading to 8.2, it would recognise my fingerprint roughly 1 in 20 times (almost perfect on 8.1.3 every time).

I removed all fingerprints, and now I can't add any - I just get "Try using a different finger, the fingerprint cannot be read."

Hey guys, after I hard restarted my phone, it started working better. After I did that, it stopped working sporadically, most of the time it would work but sometimes it wouldn't, I have four fingers registered, both thumbs and both pointers. Kept acting up on my left pointer. Eventually it went back to normal, thankfully.

Just thought I would add my $.02. I think it seems to be working better for me.... but then again, it could be in my head. I also restored fresh. iPhone 6 AT&t

Touch id death for me too, I have an iPhone 5s in Mexico. I updated yesterday and stopped working yesterday.

My Touch ID is broken totally. I cant even add any finger. Anyone has a solution to that? I tried resetting several times it didn't work.

iPhone 6 with 8.2 here. Touch ID is working okay. Obviously far from perfect. Works about 75% of the time.
