I'm really impressed with the new touch ID, back then I used to have to hold my finger on the home button to unlock the device... now when I check the time, a single tap instantly unlocks it. SOOOOOOOO AWESOME

Yup. Kiss goodbye to Lock Screen for good. Apple need to find a new way for us to peek at the Lock Screen.

Like I wrote in a post I made about how amazing Touch ID v.2 is, my iPhone 6 used to have problems after I had showered because my fingers would prune up, but not with this Touch ID...put my finger on the button and (like you all said before) I am pretty much at my home screen that is how fast it is! Apple did an amazing job improving this!

:apple:

3D Touch display to turn screen on would be cool - saw someone else suggest it. Not sure what effect it would have on battery.

It's nice with the watch where you can touch screen to wake.

Maybe its me but touch ID seems to be the same as the iPhone 6/6plus. Maybe its just me.....yea....maybe.

It was funny, because earlier today right after I got my 6s+, I felt the same. Asking myself like "wtf is everyone trippin about it's not that much faster"

After using it for a day, I think it's started to learn the nuances of my fingers, and now...I can do the whole just-tap-the-button-and-it-unlocks-you-don't-even-have-to-hold-your-finger-on-the-button-anymore-omg thing.

Maybe give it a day and see if it gets any faster...it just might!
