Touch ID not responding

Okay this is nothing like the fade issue pre 7.1 Touch ID has become completely unresponsive within the last 5 attempts to unlock my phone. Has anyone been experiencing this?

Press-hold-nothing.

I've had this happen once, although it may have been prior to iOS 7.1. I resolved it by hitting the wake/sleep button and then pressing home again. It worked fine after that.

Thanks, that did seem to resolve the issue for me. Weird
