iPad Touch ID Not Working, Now Air 2 is a Brick

So my Air 2's Touch ID was not letting me set it up from the time I got it, I would try to add finger prints and it would say setup failed before it even let me try to add any fingerprints. Anyway I chatted with apple support and they went through somethings and then told me to restore it through iTunes, which I did and now the iPad is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen and the restore keeps failing. I have an appointment for later today, just weird that an almost $1,000 device is broken out of the box. Its the second apple device to fail on me this year after my retina MBP had a graphics card failure.

That's just an unsubstantiated rumor as of now.

Either way I'd try a DFU restore first, then a trip to an Apple Genius bar.

Brought it to Apple today and they didn't even try and fix it just gave me a new one, got the gold one instead of my space grey its a really nice color.
