When I first got my phone I noticed the home button felt unusual compared to the 6+ and previous iPhones I'd used. I didn't think much of it until now because Touch ID keeps failing. I tried washing my hands, cleaning the button and re-registering the fingerprints but it keeps saying failed, try another finger.

I'm thinking I should bring it back to Apple but they've no Genius appointments available at the only store we have here. Could i just walk in and try anyway? What are the chances they're have a replacement iPhone 6 Space Grey 64gb?

You'll definitely need an appointment unless you want to risk going there and then hoping someone has cancelled.

I made an appoiment for next Wednesday but I'm going to phone tomorrow to see if they'd be able to see me sooner.

Weirdly, Touch ID was working perfectly this morning but now it's not recognising me anymore.
