All iPads Touch ID on the new iPad

Do you think the new iPad will be equipped with Touch ID?

I hope in the future we see Macs with this technology, especially if it extends to more than just unlocking the device.

On the full sized iPad- I reckon 100% likely.
On the mini - I'm going to go with 'probably not'- but I'd love to see it.

The 5 will have the A7 or A7X so yes. If the Mini doesn't get the A7 then no.

Nope.

iPads don't have to be secured that much, and plus they don't have to be unlocked so often as an iPhone (for quick-checking and replying to messages, that is).

If an iPad gets Touch ID, it would be the mini because it's made for the go - but I'm hesitating here, too. They'd not want to restrain their yields for iPads.

Yep I'm sure that would be the case! We'd be lucky to get one on the iPad 5 🙄

Neither iPad will have it. Apple will wait until the next generation of iPads to add touch ID just to give people a reason to buy them.
