touch id passcode help

so i'm an idiot and somehow changed the password in my phone and can't remember it. my fingerprint will unlock it, but once i power down and restart I'm screwed.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best hope is to do a full encrypted backup to iTunes (assuming you've done it at least once) and then do a full system restore by putting into DFU mode (make sure you remember your Apple ID and iCloud password for Activation Lock), and then restore it completely. Then after initial setup, restore from the backup you made.
