All iPads Touch ID = reachability?

Anyone hear anything about double tapping the home button for reachability on the new ipads? Seems like it would be useful.

I don't see why they would. With the Air-sized iPads the vast majority of people cannot hold the iPad one-handed in any comfortable way where they can also reach the home button. Adding that gesture would just lead to confusion without adding much functionality.

Agreed, I don't see the point of it on an iPad.

Yeah, you would need a hand the size of a torso to get any functionality from it. I have never used my iPad one handed. Just could not do it.
