Touch ID stopped working iPhone 6

I don't know if I'm the only one having this issue I probably am, but my Touch ID just stopped working. For a 3 day old iPhone 6 that's somethibg I didn't think I needed to worry about. The phone is in great shape, too. I even reset the entire phone knowing that wouldn't help it.

Anyone else having this issue?

Are you somehow on iOS 8.0.1? Touch ID was broken by that update.

iOS 8.1 beta, maybe it is flunked in that update too, but only slightly? I'm new to Touch ID, had an iPhone 4s for a while,
