I’ve noticed since the update that tap to wake takes a few touches sometimes and also scrolling sometimes doesn’t respond. Hard reset fixes issue. Anyone else?

I noticed this when I went to 13.0 on my XS Max. I’m on 13.1 on the 11 Pro Max and it’s fine. I haven’t upgraded to 13.1.1 at this point and may just skip it. It seems to be getting mixed reviews.

Hopefully 13.2 will sort this or another update before that. Poor from Apple.

I’m going to try a restore to see if that helps tonight

Same here. Seems better on 13.1.2 but still having some touch responsiveness issues on my XS Max.

So it’s appears this is touch response in general and not just tap to wake.

I’m going to downgrade back to 13.1 unless 13.2 beta comes out tonight.

So I’ve restored back to 13.1 and my issues with touch and tap to wake seem to be sorted.

Glad you posted. Been having this issue since I started using pro Max on release day. On xs Max this never happened. I have to tap screen 2-3 times to get it to work. Other times it doesn’t at all and I just touch sleep button. I’ve noticed sometimes scrolling will lag. Especially on emails etc. Defiantly a software issue. I was thinking my screen protector was issue. I’ve anyway used my iPhone with a screen protector. Well at least I know now this is an issue with many.
