New widscreen ipods may use touch instead of click wheels and the new nano will look a lot like this:
Reply what you think.

What I think? Man, you don't wanna know what I think.

But that's by the by - you need to do a search/look at the front page and realise there's a couple of hundred posts on this very thing.

Yes, I like the iPod touch idea, the new iPod nano is horrid in my opinion (Ive, if you had anything to do with this if it was a real product...). The virtual scroll wheel just seems silly. Why have a huge touch screen if you're only going to use a little circle of it... all the potential wasted. New iPods on tuesday...

about an 80 gig on ebay

A decent one will go for about $200-$250 any one priced cheaper may have issues. Otherwise i recommend an Apple Certified refurbished because u know what your getting.

Oh yeah another great video

This video shows a ton of possibilities for the 6 generation iPods, a lot of which look like the iPhone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ny-7xmfA1vQ

I have a question, do you think the new 6g iPod will look like the iPhone, UI and everything or like the 5.5 generation ipod with a mystery on what the User interface will be? Respond on what you think.

I don't think the iPod will be like that, because multitouch eliminates the need for a click wheel at all. It will be like the iPhone probably. I don't think Apple will make an entire new design just so it is different than the iPhone.

Whoever did that fake needs to find a better hand model. One with five fingers would be preferable :D

I think we'll see not one but two nano models: one with the same thickness and width as the current nano (so it keeps the current size display and Click Wheel) but with about 5/8" lower height (available in 4 and 8 GB flash memory versions), and a new nano video that is the new model shown originally in the 9to5mac.com picture that can play videos (available in 8 and 16 GB flash memory versions).

Hey! It's not easy finding a job when your a sacked fourty five year old saw mill worker. Give us a break. ;)

In regards to the iPod. If it's anything like the iPhone i will get it in a nano second. If its not widescreen then i am just going to get an iPhone when they eventually get to Australia. I'd like to watch video on something larger than a postage stamp =(

Testing the RDF

In an attempt to test his ability to bend reason and distort reality and to see how he can get people to buy anything, in September Jobs will release a new full-size iPod with a tiny screen the size of a nano centered artistically in the middle and replace the click-wheel with a single button. "This is a revolution in design," Jobs proclaims to cheering crowds, "the screen looks enormous when you hold it 'the Apple way' - 4 centimeters away from your face. And the single button delivers the songs I want you to hear, in the order I want - there was just too much room for user error and bad taste in the old iPod." Apple fanatics claim this the latest in Apple's triumphs and expect the stock price to go to $500 as they wait in line for weeks practicing the official 'Apple distance' for holding the screen by reading very tiny books.

If memory serves me, these very old "virtual click wheel" mock-ups were widely posted around here in late 2006. Everything old is new again.

i doubt it.....

I don't think that this is real. Why would they make this ipod when they already have the ipod touch. its practically the same thing, except that the ipod touch is kooler lol.
