if you take apart a macbook/pro/air would you be able to take the connecters from the touch pad and connect them to a touch screen that can be put over the screen? or even with a magic trackpad or magic mouse? i dont want to spend thousands on the axitron modbook 😡

you can attach a controller straight to the webcams usb wires with a passthrough usb cable that most touch screen layovers include.

Depending on where in the world you are... the ModBook comes in a kit-form for DIY installations, then all you have to do is wonder what to do with the old parts.
