TouchID deleting finger prints

I noticed that everything works fine on my machine thus far but TouchID has deleted my finger prints twice now. I don't quite understand why. Is anyone else having this QC issue?

This is the first I have read of this problem. When you go into System Preferences > Touch ID, none of your fingerprints are there?

Yes it has happened twice now. I don't understand why yet. It appears thus far that it only happens when I turn my computer off completely. I'm gonna test it one more time to see if I get the same result. Brb.

Not had fingerprints disappear, but lost my card from Apple Pay twice now. Once was after a power off, not sure of the other.

You mean, you can not use touch ID after you restarting your computer? Can you use it afterwards for, let's say buying something on the Appstore or iTunes?
