I didn’t see a unified thread discussing what accessories people have tried on their iPads since the iPadOS beta was released. Tonight I dug around in the garage and found a couple of things to try. I connected an old Logitech Lapdesk N550, and a Logitech K830 keyboard/trackpad combo unit. Both worked perfectly.

The Lapdesk connected directed to the USB C port with an adapter, and the K830 connected via bluetooth. Once connected to the Lapdesk I was able to play audio from the Lapdesk as well as adjust the volume/mute. The K830 worked just like it should. I was able to use the built-in trackpad to move the cursor around and the keyboard to type. Shortcut keys worked as well. I recorded a short video for your viewing pleasure.

What about you? Have you tried anything besides USB stick drives and external storage? Apple may have some other surprises waiting for us to find.

I have 512GB on iPhone, I wondered if you could plug Iphone into iPad and it show up as storage, that would be nice. Dont think it would work though.

Thanks for showcasing this! Seeing how well the K830 works, means we will definitely see keyboard cases for the iPad with trackpad integrated.

So basically all Logitech, Microsoft, etc devices work really well wirelessly from the start with many options for button assignment, but Apple’s own Magic Mouse (especially the 2) and Magic Trackpad are still lacking behind a bit in support.
